本标准规定了纺织专用高效率永磁同步电动机的型式、基本参数与尺寸、技术要求、检验规则以及包装、标志与保用期的要求。
本标准适用于棉、毛、麻、丝及化学纤维等各种纺织机器用的高效率永磁同步电动机(机座号90～225)(以下简称电动机)。该系列电动机为自起动永磁同步电动机，也适用于恒转矩负载变频调速的使用场合。本标准规定的电动机具有防纤维堵塞能力和较高的过载能力，适合于在短纤维的环境中使用。
