本标准规定了用于气体钻井、油气井钻井作业和地热钻井作业的旋转防喷器（RCD）的安全有效性、功能互换性、设计、性能、材料、试验和检验、焊接、标识、搬运、贮存和运输的要求。
本标准适用于主动型（见图1）、被动型（见图2）和混合型（见图3）旋转防喷器，RCD 旋转总成（包括金属件和非金属件），RCD 密封胶芯（主动型和被动型）和RCD 本体卡箍。不适用于RCD的现场试验。
