本标准规定了重水堆核电厂燃料棒束（简称“棒束”）的密封性能无损检测的方法提要、材料与设备、检测条件、检测步骤和检测结果判定等内容。
本标准适用于重水堆核电厂燃料棒束密封性能的检测，也适用于重水堆核电厂燃料元件密封性能的检测。可检测泄漏率范围为1×10-11 Pa·m3/s～1×10-7 Pa·m3/s。
