本标准规定了溅射离子泵（以下简称离子泵）性能参数的测量方法。
本标准适用于名义体积流率大于10 L/s的离子泵。
本标准测量体积流率的压力范围从1.5×10-3 Pa到1×10-7 Pa。
注： 本标准保证了离子泵性能参数的测量在相同的条件下按相同的方法进行。由此做到由各制造厂家或各实验室所作的测量与制造厂家在样本中给定的资料是可比的。
