GB/T 25758的本部分规定了通过清晰边缘的X射线照片测量焦点尺寸的方法。本方法要求焦点尺寸在5 μm～300 μm之间，X射线管的管电压最高可达225 kV。X射线图像的质量以及分辨力很大程度上取决于焦点的特性。焦点成像质量基于目标平面的二维辐射强度分布。
