本标准规定了8级非焊接吊链（包括1、2、3、4肢吊链）的技术要求及额定值计算和试验方法，该吊链配用符合GB/T 20946和GB/T 24816的8级链条及适当等级的部件。
本标准不适用于焊接吊链（见GB/T 20652）、肢长不等的吊链、环状吊链或特殊用途的吊链。
