本标准规定了透水路面砖和透水路面板的术语和定义、规格、等级和标记、一般规定、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则及产品合格证、堆放和运输等。
本标准适用铺设于市政人行道、园林景观小径、非重载路面广场等场合,透水性能满足要求的透水路面砖和透水路面板(以下简称：透水块材)。
透水块材可以是无钢筋的水泥混凝土经振动加压或其他成型工艺制成；也可以是以煤矸石、废瓷片、废陶片和粘土等无机非金属材料为主要原料，经烧结工艺制成。
