本标准规定了铝及铝合金大规格无缝拉制管材（以下简称管材）的要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存及质量证明书与合同（或订货单）内容。
本标准适用于外径为120 mm～220 mm的圆形截面(如图1)管材（以下简称圆管），及边长为70 mm×50 mm～120 mm×120 mm的正方形截面(如图2)管材（以下简称方管）或矩形截面(如图3)管材（以下简称矩形管）。
本标准仅适用于采用挤压开坯法生产的管材，不适用于有缝管材及导电行业用管材。
