1.1 本标准规定了半导体器件制备中用作检验和工艺控制的硅单晶试验片的技术要求。
1.2 本标准涵盖尺寸规格、结晶取向及表面缺陷等特性要求。本标准涉及了50.8 mm～300 mm所有标准直径的硅抛光试验片技术要求。
1.3 对于更高要求的硅单晶抛光片规格，如：颗粒测试硅片、光刻分辨率试验用硅片以及金属离子监控片等，参见SEMI 24《硅单晶优质抛光片规范》。
