本标准规定了塔式起重机结构用冷弯矩形管的分类及代号、订货内容、尺寸、外形、重量及允许偏差、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志和质量证明书。
本标准适用于可冷加工变形的冷轧或热轧钢板和钢带在连续辊式冷弯机组上生产的用于塔式起重机结构件的矩形管（以下简称塔机管）。
