本标准规定了电热水器用铝合金牺牲阳极（以下简称铝阳极）的要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存及合同内容。
本标准适用于在淡水、城市自来水等介质中工作的储水式电热水器用的挤压、铸造方法生产的铝阳极。热水锅炉及太阳能热水器用的挤压、铸造方法生产的铝阳极也可参照使用。
