本标准规定了乙醇消毒剂的原料要求和技术要求、应用范围、使用方法、检验方法、标志和包装、运输和贮存、标签和说明书及注意事项。
本标准适用于以乙醇为主要原料制成的乙醇消毒剂，包括乙醇与表面活性剂、食用色素、护肤成分和食用香精等配伍的消毒剂。
本标准不适用于乙醇与其他杀菌成分复配的消毒剂，也不适用以乙醇为溶剂的消毒剂。
