GB/T 26548的本部分规定了手持便携式动力驱动夯实机手柄部位手传振动辐射测量的试验方法，确定了型式试验状态下操作机器时手柄握持部位振动量的型式检验程序。其测得的结果用于比较相同型式不同型号机器的振动量。
本部分适用于由气动或其他动力驱动的夯实机、回填夯实机、爪型夯实机、捣砂器和地面捣固机(见第5章)，其端部或锤头由诸如铸铁或橡胶材料制成，用于铸造厂、建筑工地等场所进行铸砂夯实或捣固作业。
注： 为避免混淆“动力工具”和“插入工具”，本部分通篇采用“机器”代替“动力工具”。
