本标准规定了桅杆起重机的术语与定义、分类、基本参数、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、信息标识、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于主结构为金属结构、临时或长久固定安装的桅杆起重机，也适用于任何一种类型变异、但有相同基本原理特征的桅杆式起重机(以下简称起重机)。
本标准不适用于浮式桅杆起重机。
