本标准规定了小型交流风机的分类、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、交付准备和用户服务等要求。本标准适用于自动控制设备、电子设备和其他仪器中作为冷却装置，风叶直径不大于500 mm的小型交流风机（以下简称风机）。风叶直径大于500 mm的其他交流风机亦可参照使用本标准。
