GB/T 27050的本部分规定了供方符合性声明的通用要求。该符合性声明是在供方需要或必须证明某一对象符合规定要求时做出的，与所涉及的行业无关。就本部分而言，符合性声明的对象可以是产品、过程、管理体系、人员或机构。
对符合性声明来说，GB/T 27050的本部分不限定任何特定的对象。
适用时，可使用“符合性声明”一词代替“供方的符合性声明”。
