GB/T 27664的本部分规定了下列两类聚焦或非聚焦式超声无损检测用探头及其检验方法：
a） 产生横波或纵波的单换能器或双换能器接触式探头；
b） 液浸式探头。
本部分中规定的与材料有关的超声数值，是基于纵波超声声速为（5 920±50） m/s和横波超声声速为（3 255±30） m/s的钢。
本部分未规定探头的周期检验方法。
本部分适用于中心频率在0.5 MHz～15 MHz范围内的聚焦或非聚焦式探头。
