本标准规定了二氧化氯固体释放剂的要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、标签、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于主要用作水体、土壤、空气和物体表面的杀菌剂、灭藻剂、除臭剂和氧化解毒剂，作为棉制品、竹制品和木材等的漂白剂的一元包装和二元包装的二氧化氯固体释放剂。
本标准不适用于缓释型二氧化氯固体释放剂及含液体包装的多元组分的二氧化氯释放剂。
