本标准规定了室内装饰装修用天然树脂木器涂料产品的术语和定义、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装和贮存等内容。
本标准适用于由亚麻油、桐油、蓖麻油、松香等天然原料制成的树脂作为主要成膜物质，用松节油、橘油等来源于植物的天然稀释剂作为稀释剂，调制而成的氧化干燥型天然树脂涂料。产品主要用于室内木器表面的保护及装饰。
本标准不适用于人为加入甲苯、二甲苯等来源于矿物的稀释剂的天然树脂涂料。
