GB/T 27894的本部分给出了用三根毛细柱定量测定天然气中氢气、氦气、氧气、氮气、二氧化碳和C1至C8的烃类含量的一个气相色谱法。该方法适用于分析摩尔分数在表1给出的范围内的气体组分。这些范围不表示检测限，而表示在此范围内使用方法能达到规定的精密度。尽管样品中会有一种或更多组分无法检出，但这种方法仍能适用。
