本标准规定了GB 24159设计制造的“焊接绝热气瓶”（又称低温绝热气瓶，以下简称气瓶）的充装基本原则和安全技术要求。
<br/ 本标准适用于在正常环境温度（-40 ℃～60 ℃）下使用，贮存介质为液氧、液氮、液氩、二氧化碳和氧化亚氮低温液体，设计温度不低于-196 ℃，公称容积为10 L～450 L，工作压力为0.2 MPa～3.5 MPa可重复充装的立式气瓶。
