本标准规定了使用液相色谱测定表面活性剂中一氯乙酸（盐）和二氯乙酸（盐）残留量的方法。
本标准适用于以一氯乙酸或一氯乙酸钠为原料生产的表面活性剂，如：醇酚醚羧酸盐、十一烷基咪唑啉羧酸盐、脂肪烷基二甲基甜菜碱、脂肪酰胺丙基二甲基甜菜碱等产品中残留一氯乙酸（盐）和二氯乙酸（盐）含量的测定。当样品中一氯乙酸（盐）和二氯乙酸（盐）含量超过标准工作曲线范围时，需要增加标准溶液的浓度或将样品稀释或减量测定。
