本标准规定了钢制储物柜（架）产品的术语和定义、产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则以及使用说明、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于以钢材为主要材料制成、每层载重量不大于500 kg的储物柜（架）类产品。
本标准不适用于具有冷藏、保鲜、高低温可调节等功能或类似用途的货柜类产品。
