本标准规定了采用气相色谱法测定车用汽油中饱和烃、烯烃和芳烃的方法。本标准也可测定车用汽油中苯含量、含氧化合物和总氧含量。
本标准适用于测定总芳烃含量（体积分数）为不大于50%，总烯烃含量（体积分数）为1.5%～30%，含氧化合物含量（体积分数）为0.8%～15%，总氧含量（质量分数）为1.5%～3%，苯含量（体积分数）为不大于2%的车用汽油。
