本标准规定了无铜镀银玻璃镜的术语和定义、分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于以平板玻璃为基板，镀覆不含铜的反射层和保护层，且在室内使用的无铜镀银玻璃镜。
本标准不适用于非平板玻璃和平板玻璃加工制品为基板制成的无铜镀银玻璃镜，如：压花玻璃、钢化玻璃、半钢化玻璃、夹层玻璃、热弯玻璃等制成的镜子。
