本标准适用于人造板饰面专用纸，包括原纸、印刷装饰纸、装饰胶膜纸、耐磨装饰胶膜纸、表层纸、表层胶膜纸、耐磨表层纸、耐磨表层胶膜纸、平衡纸和平衡胶膜纸等。
本标准不适用于牛皮纸、预油漆纸和薄页纸等。
