本标准规定了X射线和伽马射线工业计算机层析成像(CT)无损检测的人员、环境、设备、检测过程控制、记录、报告和档案等通用要求。
本标准适用于金属、非金属和复合材料构件及零部组件（大多数材料例如焊接件、铸件、电子组件、装药结构、火工产品等）的工业CT检测。其他应用领域或其他类型射线的工业CT检测可参照使用。
