GB/T 2910的本部分规定了采用二硫化碳/丙酮法测定去除非纤维物质后的由以下纤维组成的二组分混合物中含氯纤维含量的方法：
——某些含氯纤维，无论是否后氯化的；
和
——羊毛、动物毛发、蚕丝、棉、粘胶纤维、铜氨纤维、莫代尔纤维、聚酰胺纤维、聚酯纤维、聚丙烯腈纤维和玻璃纤维。
混合物中羊毛或蚕丝的含量超过25％时，宜使用GB/T 2910.4的方法。
混合物中锦纶的含量超过25％时，宜使用GB/T 2910.7的方法。
