GB/T 2910的本部分规定了采用丙酮法测定去除非纤维物质后的由以下纤维组成的二组分混合物中醋酯纤维含量的方法：
醋酯纤维与羊毛、动物毛发、蚕丝、再生蛋白纤维、棉（精梳、漂煮，或漂白）、亚麻、大麻、苎麻、黄麻、蕉麻、针茅麻、椰壳纤维、金雀花麻、铜氨纤维、粘胶纤维、莫代尔纤维、聚酰胺纤维、聚酯纤维、聚丙烯腈纤维和玻璃纤维。
本方法不适用于含改性聚丙烯腈纤维的混合物，也不适用表面已脱去乙酰基的醋酯纤维的混合物。
