GB/T 2910的本部分规定了采用甲酸法测定去除非纤维物质后的聚酰胺纤维和棉、粘胶纤维、铜氨纤维、莫代尔纤维、聚酯纤维、聚丙烯纤维、含氯纤维、聚丙烯腈纤维或玻璃纤维等二组分混合物中纤维含量的方法。
本部分也适用于羊毛或其他动物毛发的混合物。但当羊毛含量超过25%时，宜采用GB/T 2910.4规定的方法。
