本标准规定了散热器恒温控制阀（以下简称恒温阀）的术语和定义；结构、分类与型号；要求；试验方法；检验规则；标志、使用说明书和合格证，以及包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于民用建筑供暖系统中，通过自力式动作控制流经采暖散热器的热水流量，用以实现室温调控的恒温阀（水温95 ℃以下），不适用于电动等其他驱动形式的控温阀门。
