本标准规定了玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酰癸二胺专用料的分类与命名、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于以聚对苯二甲酰癸二胺树脂为基体，加入玻璃纤维和（或）阻燃剂和（或）阻燃协效剂及其他加工助剂，通过熔融共混形成的玻璃纤维增强聚对苯二甲酰癸二胺本色材料。聚对苯二甲酰癸二胺树脂是指对苯二甲酸和癸二胺的均聚物或其与少量其他单体的共聚物。
本标准不适用于矿物填料等非玻璃纤维增强的改性聚对苯二甲酰癸二胺材料。
