本标准规定了家用和类似用途热泵热水器用全封闭型电动机-压缩机的术语和定义、产品分类、技术要求、试验方法、验收规则和标志、包装、运输、贮存的要求。
本标准适用于制冷剂为R410A、R134a、R417A、R407C和R22的家用和类似用途热泵热水器用全封闭型电动机-压缩机（以下简称压缩机),包括转子式压缩机、涡旋式压缩机和活塞式压缩机。
对于使用其他制冷剂的压缩机也可参照使用。
本标准不适用于制冷剂为R744(CO2) 的压缩机。
