GB/T 29841的本部分规定了卫星定位个人位置信息服务系统（以下简称系统）终端与服务中心之间信息交换规程及帧格式。
本部分适用于通过卫星定位以及卫星与其他方式混合定位技术获得定位信息、采用公众或专用移动通信网、具有信息服务中心的系统，可作为系统设计及测试依据。通过其他定位技术、具有位置服务中心的位置服务系统亦可参照执行。
