本标准规定了用于飞机28 V直流或115 V/200 V、400 Hz三相交流系统（具有ISO 1540规定特性）的触头额定电流值不小于5 A（交流、直流）的电磁继电器和接触器（以下简称“产品”）的性能要求。辅助触头可有较低额定值。本标准规定的产品分为三个温度等级和三类密封。
本标准适用于由28 V直流或115 V、400 Hz交流电压控制的电磁动作、磁保持或者电磁动作、机械或磁自锁定的单极、多极产品。
