本标准适用于对物品进行干燥、烘焙以及干热灭菌等的电热干燥箱及电热鼓风干燥箱（以下简称干燥箱）。
本标准不适用于真空干燥箱、远红外干燥箱及防爆干燥箱等特殊类型的干燥箱。
