本标准规定了应变控制下的单轴加载金属试样的热机械疲劳试验的要求。
本标准适用于恒定机械应变和温度循环条件下，对应任意恒定的循环应变比和恒定的温度机械应变相位差的试验。
循环周次通常考虑低循环疲劳的范畴，即疲劳寿命Nf≤105。
