本标准规定了船用制氮装置(以下简称制氮装置)的分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则以及标志、包装、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于设计压力不高于3.0 MPa、设计温度不高于150 ℃的变压吸附制氮装置和膜分离制氮装置的设计、制造和验收，也适用于海上石油平台用制氮装置。
