GB/T 307的本部分规定了推力轴承的尺寸特性、与公称尺寸的极限偏差以及公差值，以限定推力轴承的界面（倒角除外）。公称外形尺寸在ISO 104［1］中给出。
本部分不适用于某些特殊类型的推力轴承（如推力滚针轴承）或特殊场合使用的推力轴承（如特殊的推力精密轴承）。这些轴承的公差在相应的标准中给出。
