本部分适用于各类工业电热装置(以下简称“电热装置”)能耗分等标准的制定。这些能耗分等标准供电热装置的制造厂、各工业部门中的用户以及有关检测机构考核电热装置产品能耗水平和实际使用中的能耗状况，以促进电热装置能耗的降低，达到节能目的。
本部分可供制定电热装置生产过程能耗分等标准参考。
