GB/T 30839的本部分规定了各类推送式电阻加热机组（以下简称“推送炉机组”）的能耗范围、能耗参数、能耗等级划分指标及能耗测定方法。
本部分适用于炉内气氛为自然气氛和控制气氛，额定温度在150 ℃～1 350 ℃范围内的各类工业用推送炉机组。
推送炉机组按工艺用途可分为多类，如：加热机组、调质机组、退火机组、烧结机组、渗碳机组、氮化机组、钎焊机组等。除了对机组能耗指标进行分等和测定外还对机组中的主要能耗装置推送炉的能耗参数进行了等级划分,以作为机组的能耗状况的主要参数。
