本标准规定了质子交换膜燃料电池备用电源系统相关的术语和定义、安全要求和保护性措施、型式试验、例行试验以及标识、标签和包装等方面的内容。
本标准适用于质子交换膜燃料电池备用电源系统(以下简称PEMFC备用电源系统)，包括：
——提供交流电或直流电的PEMFC备用电源系统；
——使用氢气和空气作为反应气体的PEMFC备用电源系统。
对安装场地的安全要求不在本标准中规定。
