本标准规定了桥梁防雷设计、施工、防雷工程质量检测与验收和维护与管理等内容。
本标准适用于新建、改建、扩建梁式桥、拱式桥、刚构桥、斜拉桥、悬索桥等钢结构或钢筋混凝土结构桥梁的防雷设计、施工、验收及防雷装置的维护与管理。
本标准不适用于木桥、圬工桥、立交桥、人行天桥、高架桥以及高速铁路桥防雷。其他经评估存在雷电灾害风险的已建桥梁可参照本标准执行。
