本标准规定了在选择与使用转换开关电器(TSE)时应注重的产品性能、技术参数及结构形式，以及使用中的环境条件。
本标准适用于额定电压交流不超过1 000 V1)或直流不超过1 500 V的TSE的选择和使用。
TSE用于两路电源间的转换，保障对负载的连续供电，在TSE转换期间允许短时间中断2)对负载的供电。
TSE也可用于负载间的转换。
