本标准规定了水族箱用及类似用途电磁振动式气泵的术语和定义、分类与型号命名、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存等。
<br/ 本标准适用于额定电压交流不超过250V、直流不超过400V，额定电流不超过16A的电磁振动式气泵（以下简称“气泵”）；主要用于在水族箱及水产养殖场中增加水的氧气量，也可用于需提供气压、气量的其他类似场所。
保健、卫浴配套的气泵和类似专门用途的气泵可参照执行。
本标准不适用于输送除空气以外气体的泵。
