本标准适用于金属材料力学性能试验用的液压式万能试验机和液压式压力试验机，也适用于非金属材料力学性能试验用的液压式万能试验机和液压式压力试验机（以下简称试验机）。
卧式液压拉力试验机也可参照使用。
