本标准规定了渗碳轴承钢的分类与代号、订货内容、尺寸、外形、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志及质量证明书。

本标准适用于制作轴承套圈及滚动体用渗碳轴承钢热轧、锻制、冷拉及银亮圆钢（以下简称钢材）。经供需双方协商，也可供应其他牌号及尺寸的钢材，具体要求宜在合同中注明。
