本标准规定了高效液相色谱法测定口腔护理产品中过氧化物的方法要点、试剂与标准物质、仪器、分析步骤、结果计算、回收率、标准偏差。
本标准适用于以过氧化氢和其他释放过氧化氢的化合物或混合物（如过氧化脲和过氧化锌）为原料的口腔护理产品中过氧化物含量的测定。
本标准对过氧化物含量以过氧化氢计，检出限为0.3 μg/mL，定量下限为2.0 μg/mL。若取1.0 g样品，过氧化氢的最低检出浓度为30 mg/kg，最低定量浓度为200 mg/kg。
