本部分适用于铝冶炼企业温室气体排放量的核算与报告，以铝冶炼生产为主营业务的企业可按照本部分提供的方法核算温室气体排放量，并编制企业温室气体排放报告。如铝冶炼企业除铝冶炼生产以外还存在其他产品生产活动且存在温室气体排放，则应按照相关行业的企业温室气体排放核算与报告要求进行核算并汇总报告。
