本标准规定了屈服强度大于965 MPa超高强度合金钢锻件（以下简称“锻件”）的订货内容、材料和制造方法、化学成分要求、力学性能、无损检验要求、返修及产品标识等。
本标准适用于超高强度合金钢锻件。
本标准不适合在受蠕变变形限制的情况下使用。
注： 本标准涵盖了27个等级，等级的选择基于所要求的设计、使用条件及力学性能。
